Product Information: Pligun® LWI 106 is a low density insulating gun mix that can be gunned or cast.   Developed primarily as a backup insulating component, with a service limit of 2000°F and acceptable strength, it can also be used as a hot face lining in low temperature applications such as heater and homogenizing furnaces.   Product advantages include:

• Low density – 35 pcf gunned or cast
  
• Adequate CCS and hot strength
  
• Low thermal conductivity
  
• Good gunability and performance
  
• Can be cast (80 – 90% water)
